You started this business to run it. Lately, it's been running you.

But here you are. Copying data between systems. Chasing the same follow-up emails. Manually building invoices one at a time. Doing the work that was supposed to be your team's job, or no one's job at all.

I've spent 25 years making complex systems work
for the person on the other side.

AI and automations are just the
latest medium.

I'm Mandy Shaffer, founder of mosAIc operations. Throughout my career, I've been doing the same job: making what's complex or disconnected actually work for the person on the other side. A 3rd grade classroom, a textbook editing desk, then 14 years inside a large corporation across product strategy, sales, training, management, and strategic initiatives.

The same work, multiple mediums.

Different industries. Different titles. Same underlying skill.

I've taught everyone from elementary school students to university administrators. The audience changes, the medium changes, but the core work is identical: I sit between a complicated system and the human trying to use it, and I make the system work for the human.

Sometimes the system was a math curriculum. Sometimes it was college classroom software. Sometimes it was a sales pipeline worth millions. Now it's the entire stack of tools running your business.

The tool is interchangeable. The 25 years of experience is not.

Where the experience comes from.

What my background actually gives you

I can read a small business the same way I used to read the operations of a college department or a national sales territory. The patterns are the same: manual workarounds that became permanent, tools nobody trained on, processes that only the owner understands. The job is identical. The scale is smaller, and that's the advantage.

Why clients tell me the real problem

Portrait of the founder of mosAIc operations, Mandy Shaffer, framed within the company logo, seated at a conference table in a professional office setting.

I've been told I'm easy to talk to my whole career. In waiting rooms, on planes, at conferences. Strangers tell me things they probably wouldn't tell someone they'd known for years.

I always thought it was just something I was born with. Now I understand it's the most important part of this work.

When someone trusts you enough to hand over the real complex or broken thing, not the tidy version they prepared for the meeting, that's when you can actually fix it. Most consultants get the tidy version.
I get the real one...and that's where the problem actually lives.

That's not a technique. It's 25 years of caring more about the person than the process.

If you're a small business owner who is doing too much, let's talk.

I'm based in Orlando, Florida, and I work with small businesses across the country. The first conversation is free.
